A website for the Second Nature Lab of the NODE Institute. The Second Nature Lab is dedicated to a sustainable digital world. The website should be programmed as sustainable as possible. We achieved this by using caching and blocked image loading. A complete article about the sustainability of the website can be read here. The website also includes a CO2 counter that calculates live the CO2 consumed by surfing.
A modular structure can be used to display a wide variety of content, which can be reassembled over and over again.
To visualize the idea of sustainability, the font "Redaction" by Jeremy Mickel was used. The typeface only becomes clear when the focus is on individual parts of the website.
