It all started with a group of friends. We shared a notes list to keep track of our favourite movies and TV shows. But we quickly realised that a simple list wasn't enough. We needed more features like filters, ratings and comments. That way we could have a more interactive way of sharing our recommendations. It grew from there.

It is currently focused on movies and TV shows, but we're always looking to expand the platform to include new topics. In the future, we plan to add new categories such as recipes, books, podcasts, games and more. This will allow you to share recommendations on a wider range of topics and discover new things with your friends and family.

With curated, you can create different groups for your family, friends, or work colleagues, so you can keep up with what everyone else is doing and discover new things together. You can also discuss bad recommendations with your friends instead of just accepting them, and have an exchange of opinions in a private environment.

crtd.cc combines modern web technologies, using Vue.js and Quasar on the frontend and Node.js with Express.js on the backend. Data storage and management is done using MongoDB, a NoSQL database. The application is designed to prioritise user security and convenience by using email-based authentication, inspired by the practices of Medium.com.
